ITINEARY DAY BY DAY:

Day 1
AM: Baltra Airport
Arrive at Baltra Airport.

PM: North Seymour
After lunch on board, we will anchor on the island of North Seymour. Here is the largest colony of frigates, which live harmoniously with swallow-tailed gulls and pelicans. The island is also home to a group of large land iguanas that were brought here many years ago, from Baltra. Palo santo, called bursera malacophylla, a small endemic tree of palo santo, is only found here and on three small neighboring islands.

In the afternoon, if luck accompanies us, we will be able to witness a special spectacle: sea lions that surf in big waves, coming from the west.

Day 2

AM: Bartholome
The small island of Bartolomé, east of Santiago, is one of the most photographed places in the archipelago, due to a large rock in the shape of a pinnacle. This young island maintains a series of spectacular volcanic formations, a lunar landscape with small ash cones and lava tubes. The rocks served the pilots of the US Air Force. as targets for shooting practice during World War II. Bartolomé has two beaches that are separated by a narrow mangrove belt. On the north beach you will have the opportunity to swim or snorkel in an area where penguins are often seen. Sharks and rays live on the south coast, and from January to March, green turtles nest here.

PM: Sullivan Bay (Santiago)
Sullivan Bay, located east of Santiago Island, is known for its distinctive lava formations. In the afternoon you can swim again in the sea or snorkel with the sea lions.

Day 3

AM: Bachas (Santa Cruz)
A visit in the morning takes you to Las Bachas beach, on the north coast of Santa Cruz Island. It is one of the most important nesting sites for sea turtles. Behind the dunes, in the small lagoon, you can see flamingos, stilt birds and ducks. The wide beach is ideal for swimming or snorkeling.

PM: Cerro Dragón (Santa Cruz)
After lunch on board, we will sail southwest towards Cerro Dragon. Here, they will observe a unique vegetation, in addition, it is the sector where the last terrestrial iguanas of the island Santa Cruz live.

Day 4

AM: Isla Plaza
At dawn we will arrive at Isla Plaza. Thanks to the beautiful Opuntia cacti and bright red-orange sesuvium shrubs, this is a surprisingly colorful island, where land iguanas dominate the field. A small colony of sea lions lives on the cliffs of the south coast. The avifauna of the place is formed by the brown pelican, tropical birds, swallow-tailed gulls, frigate birds, Nazca boobies and blue-footed boobies.

PM: Santa Fe
We will spend the afternoon on the Island of Santa Fe. This is one of the most picturesque places of the archipelago, where you can swim with sea lions and sea turtles.

Day 5

AM: Interpretation Center (San Cristóbal)
In Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, capital of the province of Galápagos, we will visit the modern Interpretation Center of San Cristobal Island. Here you can learn about the nature and history of the colonization of the archipelago.

Isla Lobos
Flight from the San Cristóbal Airport to the mainland, bound for Guayaquil or Quito.
